Lake Windermere

Compared to Harry's essay im going to keep mine short and snappy and just talk about the highlights of each day at camp!

Saturday:
The trip to Lake District was sooooo boring plus the minibus managed to make it there faster than us which was amazing! The only good thing was that I didn’t have to wake up at the crack of dawn to get there as I was one of the advanced party however the downfall was putting up the tents for the night in pitch black.

Sunday:

H007

H007 was amazing but it felt like it was over to quickly. Im glad we met the 4 Canadians and hopefully we'll be making our way to Canada on a plane to visit them in the near future.
Dodgebee with the 2nd Fareham Scouts was good but i dont think i got the hang of it considering i was running away screaming half the time.
Libby, Abi and I appeared on the local radio known as 007fm or 88.7fm and gave a great show with a load of shoutouts to everyone!
The Karaoke was funny but i managed to loose my voice for bascially the whole week from screaming and shouting!

Main Headline

Todays main headline:
A putrid smell is said to sweep across the nation next week as thousands of beavers, cubs, scouts & explorers are heading out to H007 Camp based next to the newforest show grounds. Neighbouring people have been warned to keep away as children and ADULTS will have limited access to the showers after taking part in Physical Activities bascially getting generally muddy.
